Donation to a War Hero by Students of Kandy Campus

Students of the BM Batch 11 of ICBT Kandy Campus completed a welfare project on 25th January 2010 by donating equipments needed to a domestic water supply facility to disabled soldier Upali Dhammika of Hinurakgoda. He has lost both his legs during the final battle against the LTTE in the North.

Funds for the project came from the students & staff of Kandy Campus & it was supervised by Mr. Rajitha Ranaweera, Senior Lecturer - Business Management, Kandy Campus.

Project was undertaken as a response to an article on Lakbima & the news was highlighted by Mr. Mohan Pathirana, CEO / Executive Director of ICBT Campus
